The April 1955 magazine reports that a lecture was given by Ian Blake and his friend Keith Frost.
They had been members of an Edinburgh scout troop who undertook an expedition to Norway, in a converted and much-decorated hearse. The photo below is taken outside the Frost family home in Edinburgh: Ian is on the left, standing by the engine, and Keith is at the opposite end; Keith's brother Robert is sitting under the antlers.
They named their hearse "Coffin-Guts"; and it is thought to have been Ian who ensured that their journey progressed from Hell to Paradis - perhaps from Hell near Trondheim, to Paradis, part of Bergen.
